Data protection and data security
Data protection and data security are important to us. Each time a user accesses a page from our website and each time a file is retrieved, access data about this process is stored in a log file on our server. The basis for data processing is article 6 section 1 letter f GDPR. The data of the user is processed according to the provisions of the German Telemedia Act (TMG) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing this data for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. The data is used in particular for the optimization of our web offer. The user has the right to free information, correction and blocking of his stored data at any time. We point out that data transmission over the Internet (eg communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.
Contact Forms
In case of queries via one of the contact forms, your contact data will be stored by us for the processing of the query or for possible queries. This data will not be passed on without your consent. The e-mail traffic originating from the contact forms is encrypted using the PGP procedure. If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your data from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We pass this data on to the responsible persons within our company or to the responsible persons within our group of companies. Otherwise, no data will be passed on without your express consent. The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your request). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Server Log
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are: • Browser type and browser version • Operating system used • Referrer URL • Host name of the accessing computer • Time of server request • IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. The basis for the data processing is article 6 paragraph 1 letter f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing this data for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services.

A small number of cookies remain stored on your computer until you delete them. These are used to recognize your browser the next time you visit. If you do not agree with the automatic storage of cookies, you can adjust the settings of your browser and prevent the storage of cookies or allow them only for certain types. However, this may limit the functionalities of our website.

Integration of YouTube videos
We have sporadically integrated YouTube videos on our website. These videos are stored on “www.youtube.com” and can be played directly from our website. We have integrated all videos in the so-called “extended data protection mode”. This means that no data about you as a user is transmitted to YouTube if you do not play the videos. A processing of the data concerned by us does not take place. Only when you play the videos, i.e. click on them, are YouTube cookies stored on your computer and data transmitted to Google, Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, as YouTube operator. By playing the videos stored on YouTube, at least the following data is transmitted to Google, Inc.: IP address and cookie ID, the specific address of the page called up from us, language setting of the browser, system date and time of the call-up as well as identifier of your browser. The data transfer takes place regardless of whether you have a user account with Google. If you have a user account and are logged in, this data is directly assigned to your account. If you do not want the assignment to your profile, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube or Google, Inc. creates usage profiles from this data and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research, and/or needs-based design of its website. These evaluations are carried out in particular (also for users who are not logged in) for the provision of tailored advertising. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles. However, you must address this right of objection directly to Google Inc. as the operator of YouTube.
For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by Google, Inc., please visit https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy. By playing the YouTube videos, you consent to the data processing by Google, Inc.
