About OTARIS
OTARIS Interactive Services GmbH is an IT service provider specializing in consulting and development in the areas of IT security, quality management, testing and custom software. As an independent consulting company, OTARIS supports its customers in optimizing business processes, testing and evaluating applications, services, infrastructures and hardware. OTARIS advises on innovative methods and technologies and supports companies in their digital transformation.
OTARIS tests IT systems, apps and IoT devices for security, data protection compliance and quality. Applications, websites, cloud and network infrastructures are analyzed in standardized security tests using vulnerability scans and penetration tests. OTARIS supports the implementation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and a Secure Software Development Lifecycle (Secure SDLC). Our experts advise on protocols, architectures and infrastructures of communication standards such as LPWAN (LoRaWAN, SigFox), ISM band and current mobile radio standards (LTE A-Pro, 5G NR-V2X, NB-IoT, 5G). We use end-to-end measurements to record the quality of service (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE) of communication networks and services. We provide support in the selection and implementation of 5G campus networks.

IT security

Hardening for containers and Kubernetes, secure CI/CD pipelines, identity and access management, encryption, continuous monitoring and compliance in accordance with ISO 27001, BSI C5 and SOC 2 reduce risks and create transparency.
Testing & Audits
Our security tests and audits uncover vulnerabilities at an early stage and provide clear recommendations for action. From penetration tests and code reviews to cloud and infrastructure audits, we test systems in a practical manner and in accordance with recognized standards such as OWASP, ISO and BSI. This gives you transparency and a reliable basis for secure decisions.
Training & Awareness
We strengthen your team with practical training and individual consulting. Whether threat modeling, awareness training, phishing simulations or compliance and risk management - we impart knowledge, optimize processes and support you in the secure development and operation of complex systems.

OTARIS is the Bremen regional office of the German IT Security Association (TeleTrusT)
The Bundesverband IT-Sicherheit e.V. - TeleTrusT was founded in 1989 to create a reliable framework for the trustworthy use of information and communication technology. TeleTrusT quickly developed into a well-known competence network for IT security, whose voice is heard in Germany and Europe. Today, TeleTrusT represents more than 200 members from industry, science and research as well as public institutions. In addition to its membership, OTARIS has taken over the TeleTrusT regional representation in Bremen in order to promote the topic of secure and trustworthy business processes as a contact and initiator for cooperation with established regional networks.

IFIT Freies Institut für Sicherheit was founded with the aim of forming a competence network to inform companies and institutions in the commercial sector and public institutions (Bremen / Lower Saxony region) about IT security issues and to promote the exchange of expertise and experience between members. As an active member from the very beginning, OTARIS supports the activities of the IFIT.
