OTARIS is the Bremen regional office of the German IT Security Association (TeleTrusT)
The Bundesverband IT-Sicherheit e.V. - TeleTrusT was founded in 1989 to create a reliable framework for the trustworthy use of information and communication technology. TeleTrusT quickly developed into a well-known competence network for IT security, whose voice is heard in Germany and Europe. Today, TeleTrusT represents more than 200 members from industry, science and research as well as public institutions. In addition to its membership, OTARIS has taken over the TeleTrusT regional representation in Bremen in order to promote the topic of secure and trustworthy business processes as a contact and initiator for cooperation with established regional networks.

VDE - these three letters stand for one of the largest European associations for industries and professions in electrical engineering and information technology. An international expert platform for science, standardization and product testing - interdisciplinary, closely interwoven and unique in the world. A concentration of experience, market knowledge and technological know-how. As a cooperative corporate member, OTARIS supports the commitment of the VDE Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies.
Bitkom is Germany's digital association. Bitkom's members offer software, IT services, telecommunications or Internet services, manufacture hardware or consumer electronics, are active in the field of digital media or the network economy or are otherwise part of the digitizing economy. Bitkom is particularly committed to an innovative economic policy, modernization of the education system and a future-oriented network policy. As a member of BITKOM, OTARIS is involved in the areas of digital transformation, information security and Industry 4.0.
IFIT Freies Institut für Sicherheit was founded with the aim of forming a competence network to inform companies and institutions in the commercial sector and public institutions (Bremen / Lower Saxony region) about IT security issues and to promote the exchange of expertise and experience between members. As an active member from the very beginning, OTARIS supports the activities of the IFIT.
